In Loving Memory Betty Calvin April 20, 1969 - April 16, 2026 Betty Calvin passed away peacefully at her home on April 16, surrounded by the love of her family. Betty was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a loyal friend to many. She had a warm and generous spirit that made everyone feel welcome in her presence. Whether through her kind words, her caring heart, or her quit strength, Betty touched the lives of those around her in ways that will never be forgotten. She found joy in the simple moments, time spent with her family, laughter shared with loved ones, and creating a home filled with comfort and love. Her greatest pride and happiness came from her family, who meant everything to her. She is preceded in death by her parents Lindsey and Betty McDaniel; and her sister, Judy Cain. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Sam Calvin; her sons, Stephen Calvin (Ashlea) and Chad Calvin; and her beloved grandchildren, Kobe Calvin, Kolton Calvin, Bradley Calvin, Riley Calvin, Wyatt Calvin, Makayla Wright, Kadance Brickeen, Kinkey English, and Layken Brickeen. Her brother, Lindsey McDaniel (Rita); two sisters; Barbara Evans and Glenda Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews. Psalms 23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not what. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord ever. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff of Arden Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Betty’s final journey. Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
