Roy Allen Turnage, 74, of Taylorsville, MS passed away Saturday evening, April 30, 2022, in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born January 2, 1948, to Roy and Lou Annie Turnage. Roy proudly served is country in the United States Marine Corp where he received 2 purple hearts. Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Turnage; his parents, Roy, and Lou Annie Turnage; and his brother Emmett Turnage. Left to cherish his memory is his 3 daughters, Tina (Mark) Evans, Christy Beach and Angela Whiddon (Paythan); 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Bill) Wallace and Carley Jean Browning. Roy was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. A private service is being planned by the family at this time.
