David Joseph Sanchez

January 11, 1958 - February 16, 2022

David Joseph Sanchez passed away at his home on February 16,2022. He was 64 years old and a native of Arabi, Louisiana, where except for a brief period after Hurricane Katrina he lived his entire life. He was well-liked and well-known; a natural athlete and skilled hunter; a bold, fearless, outgoing, and gregarious person who grew up with many friends in the Parish and especially Old Arabi. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Pauline and father Wilfred, and is survived by his sister Pauline, brothers Billy (Trish), John, and Michael, as well as his nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and many cousins. He was an alumni of the old Arabi Elementary School, and a graduate of the Chalmette Senior High School class of 1976. A private memorial service is being planned for the immediate family.
